About New College

Students at New College do not recieve letter grades. Instead, they get written evaluations from their professors. They still must recieve a certain numerical grade to pass a class. It is a wonderful school for independent thinkers who want to learn. When I was there, the average class size was 15 to 20 students.

  2. Experiance with GIS and geostatistics software, including ArcGIS, STISS, SGeMs, and SADIE

  4. Research techniques including: experimental design, data collection, data analysis, insect preservation and mounting, microscopy, and various sampling techniques
